APM Standards Web Site

The mission of the Automated People Mover Standards Committee is to develop the minimum set of requirements to achieve an acceptable level of safety and performance for an Automated People Mover system. These requirements cover the planning, design, construction, and operations of an APM system.

The APM Standards Committee is a working group within the Transportation and Development Institute (T&DI) of ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) and is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

There are four parts to the APM Standard. These are:
